Rangoli

€320.00

This painting was quite challenging to create, as I found myself constantly shifting between ideas. Eventually, I decided to incorporate elements that resonate with me deeply—elements of my cultural heritage. The patterns you see in the piece are inspired by Rangoli, a traditional Indian art form often displayed at the entrance of homes. Rangoli is created using colorful fine powders or flower petals, symbolizing a warm welcome, auspiciousness, and a protective barrier against negative forces. By weaving these patterns into the painting, I wanted to honor this rich tradition while adding a deeper cultural significance to the work.
